Our Story

Years ago, when my young daughter was diagnosed with food intolerances there was very little information about what to do. We started experimenting with cooking which brought many successes and many failures but ultimately lots of joyful moments. There were a few other moms struggling with the same experiences, and their support and willingness to share tips became invaluable. I slowly realized why gathering by the hearth historically was so important. We gave each other strength and shared caring and information. By the Hearth Gathering is the outcome of these experiences and a desire to share and nurture community, provide inspiration, support, and belonging.

Our products are intended to offer joyful experiences and unique gifts that build memories and celebrate our bonds and home life. Some of our products are mother/child aprons, handmade doll outfits, dollhouse miniatures, party decor, and home decorations. 

We also sell a unique collection of designer cotton fabric selected by us for your sewing, quilting, and crafting projects.
